ACI is a company of ups and downs. They hire a bunch of newbies to cover the techs that got frustrated and left. It's a good company to work at if you are between jobs. It will make you appreciate a good job later. |

this is a great stepping stone company but no one retires from aci your position is short lived at best. |

Advanced commutations is a very unstructured company. Supervisors do not communicate with upper management. The company is full of crude installers who were prompted to management (they have no formal education). These people cannot even spell correctly or create sentences. The company itself has no regard for the Michigan labor law and violates it all the time. I would not recommend this company to anyone. If you work for them or have worked for them you should know that it is against the law for ACI to take any money from you check without your written consent “ Public Act 390 of 1978, in section 7(1) states; ". . . an employer shall not deduct from the wages of an employee, directly or indirectly, any amount . . . without the full, free, and written consent of the employee, obtained without intimidation or fear of discharge for refusal to permit the deduction." If this has happened to you I urge you to file a complaint against this company with the state on Michigan. Contact the department of labor wage and hour division |

aci is for the homeless who dont have any other choice in life, or for people who are in a rut! its not for me, i insulted my own intelligence by even applying. slave labour is alive and well. |

if they weren't afraid of getting rid of some of the dead weight that cost them more money than they make for the compay and get there heads out of there rectums they might be able to get some oxygen to there brains and maybe they could make some good decisions for the company and the employees that work for them |

If no other job is available to you, ACI will serve as a below average stepping stone. Be very carefull in what you sign when you hire in. They will bill you at almost 20% more for every tool the hand you, becarefull that you check your tool sheet when you hire in, as 6-10 months later when you leave you WILL buy them more tools than they had when you started.
Just be warned... Everything about the company is Shady at best. They will abuse you, and fire you at will. |

Their turnover rate is very high. In their own newsletter they mentioned that 71% of the people have been there a year or less. That figure alone tells the story. |
