| Comments: | "Managemant" is so unprofessional, luck of skills and true managerial experiance is shocking! U r constantly being thrown under a bus - every time u do something THEY aprove but turns out to be wrong. All managers in Michaels stores I had to deal with were just longterm former cashiers and floor associates who never been correctly trained and tooled to gain necesary skills required to do that responsible and complex job. The only "managerial" tool they posses is rudness and big egos. Luck of proper managerial style and even manners showed right from my interview day. Most of them DO NOT know how to properly handle customers problems and complaints. On many occassions I was better (or interested at all) in resolving them than my "managers". The company is an ambarassing but very common example of retail corporative big box establishments that DO NOT invest/cannot afford skilled and educated managerial workforce with actual business/managerial collage preparation for this kind of job. Michaels and TJX companies r rated as THE WORST retail companies in employees satisfaction ratings, they r well known for treating employees unfairly and with disrispect... DO NOT invest your time in applying for any job there... u'd find to be nothing but a four letter word to them. |

| Comments: | Poor problems solving, TERRIBLE attitude toword employees and even customers, managmant cought on doing sth wrong or unfair plays stupid or wags the dog, they CANNOT make a call when polices contradict or look for victimising a third part. Sooo sad |

| Comments: | u cannot cover benefits they offer with what they pay... it just make NO sense. There is NO professional training programs for any position. Bad managers train more bad managers. If u want to be a manager u got to just be an associate or ring a cash register for a year or so... and there it is... a fresh new managerial TALENT... not to mention... u got to like what they do even if they do little and wrong |
