I would be very careful about taking a job at Rauxa. If you are just starting out your career, this might be a good place as they like to hire people who look like they belong selling cosmetics at Nordstroms. However, I would not recommend Rauxa as a place to grow your professional career. |

There were 5 or so individuals that make this place even semi tolerable. Those individuals were either let go or exited themselves in attempts to sleep at night with piece of mind. This company has all the potential in the world because the lower level staff actually pour their hearts into their careers, while Sr.Mgmt complains about how hard it is to keep their 80,000 cars clean. |

To any person even considering working here, I hope you read reviews of this place before you do... I wish I had! They will not respect you, they will smash you down if you have any creative thought of your own. With team mates, get ready for them to stab you in the back at any chance they can to self promote themselves above you. Management: This is why the team members are so ruthless. Management watches your every second--- They literally have a time clock to which you have to time every literal second of your day-- true story.
Here, if you have been working there for 3+ years, you are considered a "Senior"... why?? Because hardly no one lasts that long. I do not think that this company's management is what the CEO intended for when she started the company. I met Jill, and she was a hard, but ethical woman... her managers and employees beneath her though... Far from! Run away from this job opportunity if given the chance. |

Don't work here! Not that they're hiring.
Honestly, I kept waiting for that moment when HR would take me down to the secret basement, reprogram me, and send me back upstairs with a new "you got it!" attitude and expensive wardrobe, just like one of the Stepford wives.
This company is a disaster. There are many other fine marketing agencies out there and I urge clients and prospective employees to go find someone else. |

If you are a freelancer considering doing work for the San Francisco office you should not count on receiving your agreed-upon fee. They will call you in, throw impossible deadlines at you, give you bad information, change the strategy halfway through the project without revising the schedule - and then tell you your work isn't good enough to get paid for. Don't take it personally. This is the ECD's modus operandi. Getting free work out of freelancers is an extremely effective way to keep costs down on new business pitches and other projects, and if he can destroy your confidence you're less likely to fight back. |

Overall, Rauxa is not for everyone. This is not the job that you come to everyday and feel as if you're not going to be challenged. If you like hard work, want to work with competitive people, be the best at what you do all the time, have limited excuses for mistakes, have help to keep your personal life in place (spouse and kids), and can look and keep up with the current Fad, then this place is for you. If you are looking for a place to work 8am-5pm, surf the internet for at least a couple hours a day, wear what ever you want, have a attitude, do only a half a&# job and still get paid, and have quite a busy home life already, then you need to keep looking. Rauxa is a great place for young, creative, energetic, people who thrive for challenge. You will be critiqued for the most tedious things, but it’s only because this place thrives to be the Best and won’t settle for less and you will work in your sleep, because your constantly scared that you’ve missed something (and believe me, someone will notice). Lastly, if you’re good and I mean “RAUXA GOOD” (which is a lot in itself), then you will succeed and can make lots of money! Consider your life goals very seriously before you go work at Rauxa Direct. |

If you need a job then go for it, but keep looking. The key to success at Rauxa is to make it out before they show you out, because at the end of the day they fire almost everyone. The CEO and COO Robin Fish will cut you if it means he can make an extra buck that month. They care nothing for employee's and have gone on the record to say they did a mass firing so that they can make a couple extra percent profit. Many popular employee's including one of the brightest Studio members and popular IT guy was cut for an extra 5% profit that month. The CEO has said that she is looking out for companies money rather than employee's. |

I would definitely not waste your time with this company. The turn over rate is EXTREMELY high. It seemed like every week someone wouldn't return to their office after lunch and an email would be sent saying they "resigned". Management tries to make the company look glamorous, intelligent and fun but the reality is, deep down, it's just junk mail. Find a more fulfilling advertising job with a media vehicle that will not be banned in the future by environmentalists :) |

This is a very tough environment for most people. Sensitive, warm-fuzzy types should not even consider this... if you don't burn out in three months they will fire you anyways. I think this place could potentially work for highly competitive, highly aggressive types who are willing to "work hard and do what it takes" (translate this to mean: kiss ass and skirt the ethical line) on the way to the top. Rauxa does have some great clients, but, at least for me, the overall the culture of the organization is poisonous to its employees. |
